Capstone shipped for your business

Upskill by shipping.
Not by watching.

Free fundamentals for everyone. Paid 4-8 week cohorts for the people who'll actually ship. Every paid program ends in a working artifact built for YOUR business — not a generic exercise.

Certified by Nolola. A partner reviews your capstone before you get the certificate. Top grads get an invitation to the AI Talent Marketplace bench.

01Who books this

Teams who'd rather
learn by shipping.

Operators who want their team to skill up on AI without sitting through six months of slideware.

You probably said yes to one of these
  • Your team is using AI inconsistently and the floor is dragging down the ceiling
  • You can't justify a full-time AI hire yet but need to skill up the people you have
  • You've sat through generic AI training that didn't produce any actual work
  • You want certified team members you can point at, not just a slide on internal LinkedIn
  • You're an operator who wants to learn by shipping, not by watching

Don't want to train at all — just hire someone? The AI Talent Marketplace is the right tier instead. About 30% of Academy grads end up listed there.

02The learning ladder

Free start.
Real finish.

Four stages. Most teams send everyone through the free fundamentals, then pick 2 to 4 people for a paid cohort, then promote the strongest into running AI projects internally.

Stage 01

Free fundamentals

AI Fundamentals for Business, ChatGPT for Productivity, Prompt Engineering Basics. ~2 hours each. No credit card. Send your whole team.

Stage 02

Paid cohort program

4 to 8 weeks. Live sessions, Slack community, hands-on assignments. You build a real artifact for YOUR business while you learn, not a toy example.

Stage 03

Capstone + certification

Ship the build. Reviewed by a Nolola partner. On approval, you get a Nolola-verified certificate that means something — it's tied to real work, not a 30-minute quiz.

Stage 04

Marketplace bench (top grads)

The strongest certified graduates get invited onto the AI Talent Marketplace bench, where companies hire vetted AI builders for paid engagements.

05What grads say

Shipped the capstone.
Still running today.

I went in to learn agents. I came out with a working triage agent for our support team, certified, and a list of three more builds I could do myself. Tuition paid for itself in month one.
Imani O.
Solutions engineer · 110-person B2B SaaS
We enrolled four ops people in the RAG cohort. By week 4 they'd shipped a knowledge bot over our policies that deflected 30% of internal questions. None of them were engineers.
Daniel R.
Head of Ops · 80-person professional services firm
I took the n8n course as a non-engineer founder. Capstone was a real lead-routing automation. I'm running it daily, six months later. Not a toy.

Common questions

Cohort-based, live-session anchored. Each paid program has scheduled live sessions, a Slack community, weekly assignments, and a final capstone. You move through it with a group of 15 to 30 other operators. We deliberately avoid self-paced because most operators never finish self-paced courses.

A working artifact you build for your actual business during the cohort. For the Agents course, you ship a working Claude agent solving a real problem at your company. For RAG, a knowledge bot over your real docs. For n8n, a live automation. Reviewed and approved by a Nolola partner before certification.

You shipped a real working build, a Nolola partner reviewed it, and we're willing to put our name on you. It's tied to actual work — not a one-hour assessment. That's also why top grads are eligible for the marketplace bench: the certificate is evidence we've seen them ship.

Yes. Team enrollment for 4+ seats gets 15% off and includes a kickoff call with the cohort lead to align learning outcomes with your specific roadmap. Email hello@nolola.com after you book the first seat.

Two differences. (1) Capstone-required: you don't finish without shipping something working for YOUR business — most courses have you build a toy example you throw away. (2) Pipeline: certified grads can earn placement on the Nolola expert marketplace, where companies actively hire AI builders. Most courses end with a certificate that sits in your inbox.

You still keep everything you learned and all course materials. You just don't get certified. If you ship within 90 days of cohort end we'll review it and certify retroactively — most students who don't finish on schedule do finish eventually.

Free fundamentals (AI Fundamentals for Business, ChatGPT for Productivity, Prompt Engineering) are about 2 hours each. They're for everyone in your org — managers, ops people, sales, support, leadership. The paid cohorts are for the people who'll actually ship something. Different audiences, different goals.

Top-performing certified grads get an invitation to apply for the Nolola AI Talent Marketplace, where companies hire vetted AI builders for paid engagements. Acceptance to the bench is a separate vetting step (you don't auto-list), but certification puts you in the funnel.
